Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Palm Harbor, FL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, serve customers, and help develop the store team. The role is part-time and onsite, with responsibilities including merchandising, opening/closing tasks, and enforcing policies while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, store-management experience in retail or grocery, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Lifts up to 55 lbs and frequent walking, standing, and bending are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional displays and store fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record-keeping.
• Ensure a well-stocked store and secure assets.
• Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
