Job summary

Dollar Tree in Sea Ranch Lakes, FL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily functions, help customers, and organize merchandise while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, store leadership experience preferred, and the ability to lift up to 55 pounds. You will supervise associates, perform openings/closings, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; read, interpret, and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking and standing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain fixtures and displays for promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and handling damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Keep store areas clean, stocked, and presentable.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.
• Help Store Manager supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, respectful environment.
• Ensure store cleanliness and restocking of bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
