Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, support customer service, and coach a team of associates in Spearman, Texas. The role requires ensuring standards, assisting with payroll and scheduling, and maintaining paperwork accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and stock merchandise from delivery to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety and protect store assets.
