Job summary

3M HEALTHCARE in Barboursville, WV is seeking a Store Manager to lead and develop a team, deliver exceptional customer service, and drive store performance. You will mentor hourly associates, manage budgeting, and ensure compliance with company policies while promoting a culture of belonging.

The role requires 2 years of college or equivalent supervisory experience, plus skills in leadership, budgeting, and people management; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college coursework; or 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; or 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Successful completion of all required job-training and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
• For firearms-selling facilities, a valid firearms-specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training.

Responsibilities

• Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following the One Best Way (OBW) service model and managing customer service initiatives.
• Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating profit/loss statements, managing budgeting and forecasting, controlling expenses, and ensuring effective merchandise presentation.
• Supervise and develop hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace.
• Coordinate and oversee job-related activities and assignments, develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and support plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, support the Open Door Policy, and provide guidance on applying these policies in business processes.
• Promote a culture of belonging by building high-performing teams, embracing diversity, and creating opportunities for all associates to thrive.
• Act with integrity, maintain the highest standards of ethics and compliance, and support our culture of sustainability and community impact.
• Serve customers and members by delivering results, putting the customer first, adapting to their shopping preferences, and applying business models such as EDLP and EDLC.
