Job summary

Men's Wearhouse is seeking a retail store tailor-alterations to assist customers, mark, alter and press garments to achieve an attractive fit. You will participate in the sales process with a focus on personalized service and final product quality.

Qualified candidates will have formal tailoring training or menswear tailoring experience, strong sewing skills, and a teamwork mindset. The role includes maintaining shop organization and supporting management.

Qualifications

• Formal tailoring training preferred.
• Experience as a tailor for menswear highly preferred.
• Good technical skill.
• Sound knowledge of sewing equipment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Team attitude and enthusiasm.
• Proficiency in all basic and advanced alterations of men's tailored clothing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in selling process by greeting and engaging customers, addressing special requests.
• Mark, alter, and press garments to ensure fit and appearance.
• Maintain an open dialogue with management and fellow team members.
• Help keep the tailor shop organized and clean.
• Ensure customers are properly sized and satisfied with final products.
