Job summary

Brobston Group LLC seeks a Retail Support Associate in New York to assist with shipments, inventory, and selling-floor activities. You will maintain stock areas and cash wraps, assist client advisors, and support year-end inventory and transfers.

This role requires a detail-oriented, professional team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Store Manager and ensure assigned duties are completed accurately
• Monitor the flow of shipments and follow up on discrepancies
• Perform box counts, validate against bills of lading, and report shortages or damages
• Assist with year-end inventory counts and related preparation
• Determine shipping methods and prepare necessary paperwork
• Receive merchandise, complete transfer forms, and place product on the selling floor
• Maintain neat, clean, and orderly stock areas and ensure cash wraps are stocked with supplies
• Complete basic luggage repairs using small hand tools and track repaired items
• Perform deliveries and assist selling-floor client advisors as requested
• Use the R-client tool to communicate with clients about repairs or product proposals
• Support new store projects as required by management
