Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington in Seattle-Ballard is seeking a Retail Supervisor to support daily store operations within Retail Operations. You will guide and train associates, supervise diverse retail categories, and ensure excellent customer service to donors and shoppers.

The position requires 2 years in retail with POS systems, 2 years in customer service, and 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience with retail with POS systems.
• 2 years’ customer service/retail experience.
• 1 year supervisor experience preferred.
• High school graduate or equivalency but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assign, guide, coach and train employees while performing the work of a Sales Associates as needed.
• Complete retail operational requirements by scheduling and assigning one or more employees.
• Set expectations, instruct, coach and identify training needs.
• Maintain orderly operations of the store in the absence of the Manager and Assistant.
• Resolve workplace problems by addressing issues that impact employee performance and productivity.
• Ensures excellent customer service is provided to customers and donors.
• Prepare reports by collecting, documenting and summarizing information.
• Complete projects by planning, organizing and monitoring assignments.
• Promote productivity by following up with employees on work results
• Provide excellent internal/external customer service.
