Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is seeking a Customer Service Associate in our retail operations. You will interact with customers and donors, process transactions with a POS system, balance cash, and maintain store appearance and safety standards.

The role requires strong customer service skills, at least 1 year of retail experience, and the ability to work independently. Pay ranges from $18.75 to $20.96 per hour DOE, with an on-site schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year retail/customer service experience.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Ability to handle requests quickly and efficiently.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and donors in a timely and courteous manner by answering questions, resolving problems, processing refunds, applying discounts, monitoring merchandise on hold, and handling bags.
• Operate POS system and balance cash drawer.
• Answer store phones and communicate via intercom and radio.
• Maintain a clean work environment and safety practices.
• Build and maintain internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
