Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a Retail Supervisor to join the Store Leadership Team and assist the Store Manager in operating the store effectively. You will lead diverse staff, drive sales on the sales floor, and ensure a personalized shopping experience for customers.

The role emphasizes training, merchandising execution, and collaboration with leadership to ensure standards and procedures are followed while supporting a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• No specific education required (High School Diploma or GED preferred).
• 2-5 years of experience in position or specialization.
• Skill operating Inventory and Point of Sales (POS) systems, and various other retail software tools.
• Ability to use judgment to identify and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems.
• Effective communication skills; able to exchange ideas and information with the store leadership team, associates, and consumers.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and in-the-moment coaching to ensure associates engage customers and leverage product knowledge.
• Support store leadership in merchandising directives and timely replenishment of the sales floor.
• Drive department sales through understanding customer needs and product presentation.
• Collaborate with store leadership to ensure compliance with procedures and policies.
• Lead by example to maintain a high professional standard and a collaborative store culture.
