Job summary

Work World in Salinas, CA is hiring a part-time Retail Store Supervisor to lead daily operations and deliver excellent customer service.

You will supervise staff, open/close the store, handle transactions, and ensure shelves are stocked and storefront is inviting. The role requires 1–2 years retail experience, strong communication, and the ability to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years retail customer service experience preferred.
• Sales and supervising experience is preferred.
• Willing to work nights and weekends.
• Excellent Customer Service.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Demonstrated sales skills and experience.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
• Must be able to climb a ladder.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Bi-Lingual a plus

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of products and services to customers.
• Assist customers with requests in store and over the phone.
• Open and close the store.
• Direct workflow on the sales floor.
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and polite manner.
• Always maintain store organization and cleanliness.
• Complete customers transactions at the cash register including taking payments, and issuing receipts.
• Maintain inventory levels and restock shelves as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager
