Job summary

The Villages in Florida is seeking a proactive Retail Office Manager to help streamline the flow of the Golf & Retail Division's processes, supporting the Retail Manager, Buyers, Facility Inventory Associates, and Golf Professionals while delivering Raving Fans customer service to internal and external customers.

This full-time, on-site role supervises Retail Assistants and Associates, maintains pricing and inventory accuracy, manages orders, and implements office policies to ensure efficient

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid driver's license and ability to use personal vehicle for business.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily direction to Retail Assistants and Retail Associates.
• Supervise pricing to meet company goals and objectives.
• Oversee inventory processes across retail facilities.
• Maintain communication with retail stakeholders and vendors.
• Manage open orders in the BONNIE system and communicate delays.
• Oversee returns/credits in the ZOMBIE system.
• Maintain records of retail transactions and input data into AS400.
• Establish and enforce retail office policies and procedures.
• Assist Retail Manager with supervision of staff per policies.

Job description

Within the spirit of "Making People's Dreams Come True", this position is responsible for assisting with the flow of the retail processes throughout The Villages Golf & Retail Division by supporting the Retail Manager, Buyers, Facility Inventory Associates, and Golf Professionals. These duties are accomplished while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily direction to Retail Assistants and Retail Associates.
• Supervise and maintain accurate profit margins/pricing to meet company goals and objectives.
• Supervise the inventory process through-out the retail facilities.
• Maintain open and effective communication with Retail Managers, Buyers, Facility Inventory Associates, vendors, and Golf Professionals.
• Oversee all open orders using the BONNIE system and communicate appropriate information in a timely and efficient manner.
• Communicate delays in orders that would affect monthly sales plans.
• Oversee returns/credits using the ZOMBIE system.
• Maintain accurate records of all retail transactions for all The Villages Golf & Retail Division soft goods, supervise input of information into AS400 inventory system, and create necessary SKU labels.
• Establish, implement, and manage policies and procedures for the effective and efficient operation of the retail office.
• Assist Retail Manager with the supervision of Retail Assistants and Retail Associates in accordance with The Villages Golf & Retail Division's policies and applicable laws.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one (1) to two (2) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• This position is subjected to The Villages Vehicle Safety Program and its policies as it requires the use of personal vehicles for company business.
• A Valid Driver's License with a record acceptable to company standards is required for this position .
