Job summary

Accenture seeks a Consultant in Retail Merchandising and Planning to help clients reinvent buying, planning, allocation and inventory management. You will work across merchandising strategy, planning process design, and AI-enabled decision making, contributing to client-ready deliverables and executive communications.

You will engage with client stakeholders daily, build capability across category management, MFP, assortment, and replenishment, and help shape transformation roadmaps and value

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant professional experience in category management, MFP, assortment, allocation, replenishment, or demand/supply planning at a retailer.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute workstreams within transformation programs and deliver client-ready analyses.
• Synthesize data into insights and maintain effective client stakeholder relationships.
• Support operating model design and capability assessments across apparel, hardlines, or grocery.
• Develop recommendations, roadmaps, and value cases to quantify impact.
• Collaborate with Accenture team members to ensure timely delivery of work.
