Job summary

Accenture’s Retail Merchandising and Planning practice is seeking a Consultant to help clients reinvent how they buy, plan, allocate, and manage product across the value chain. You will work closely with client stakeholders to develop recommendations, drive delivery, and realize results.

You will execute workstreams, synthesize data into insights, and support operating model design spanning category management, MFP, assortment, allocation, replenishment, and demand/supply planning, with a focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3 years of relevant experience in category management, MFP, assortment planning, allocation, replenishment, or demand/supply planning at a retailer.
• Experience in professional services or consulting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute workstreams within transformation engagements for retail clients.
• Synthesize data into client-ready deliverables and insights.
• Identify and interpret key project requirements with client stakeholders.
• Develop relationships with client stakeholders and support on-time delivery.
• Assist in project planning and coordination for delivery.
• Collaborate with internal SMEs to align priorities and objectives.
• Produce high-quality work with integrity and professionalism.
• Support assessments of current-state merchandising and inventory capabilities.
• Contribute to future-state operating model design across planning functions.
• Help develop capability roadmaps and value cases for change.
• Apply sub-industry nuances to tailor client recommendations.
• Bring AI/analytics knowledge to help solve planning problems.
• Assist in evaluating planning platforms and AI-enabled decision tools.
• Contribute to GenAI-enabled planning capabilities in roadmaps.
• Provide merchandising insights and benchmarking content.
• Prepare client-facing summaries and analyses for opportunities.
