Bass Pro Shops in Springfield, Missouri is seeking a Retail Specialist to serve as the primary liaison between Merchandising, Retail Stores and Store Operations, helping develop regional assortments and displays through close collaboration with Visual Merchandising. This role requires strong analytics, customer service orientation and excellent communication across teams.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Business or related field, advanced Excel knowledge, and the ability to translate data

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Business or a related field preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Merchandising, Stores, and Store Operations.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes Sales and Inventory data to detect trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Reviews sales reports by Region/Store to identify under/over-performing stores and communicates opportunities for improvement.
• Uses Sales and Inventory data to help Stores and Merchant Teams optimize customer service levels and inventory productivity.
• Acts as a liaison between Merchants and Stores on assortment needs, fixture needs, stock levels, space planning and capacity issues.
• Manages the flow of information and communication of brand priorities, promotions and new product launches to the retail teams.
• Manages customer requests and special orders in a timely manner.
• Manages new store openings and travels to locations for assortment set up and outfitter training.
• Owns an element of the on-boarding process for new hires.
