Job summary

The Men's Wearhouse, a Tailored Brands division, seeks a Retail Store Tailor–Alterations in Olympia, WA to provide personalized alterations and excellent service to every guest.

You will assess fit, mark, alter, and press garments, help customers with sizing and wardrobe suggestions, and maintain a clean, organized tailor shop. Starting pay is hourly with merit-based increases based on performance.

Qualifications

• Formal tailoring training preferred.
• Experience as a menswear tailor preferred.
• Strong technical sewing skills.
• Familiarity with various sewing equipment.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Proficient in alterations of men’s tailored clothing.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and respond to special requests.
• Mark, alter, and press garments to ensure proper fit.
• Measure customers for sizing and provide wardrobe suggestions.
