Job summary

WSS, the neighborhood footwear retailer, seeks a Supervisor in Phoenix, AZ. Lead a team, drive sales, and uphold store standards while delivering exceptional service and product knowledge.

You will focus on coaching, KPI monitoring, and creating a welcoming store environment, with growth opportunities within a strong Foot Locker family. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 3+ years of retail management experience.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, POS, and Time Keeping systems; ability to understand financial reports and analyze problems.
• Proven track record in customer service and team development is essential.
• Self-starters who can identify KPI opportunities and coach their team.
• Flexible hours including weekends/holidays; occasional overnights.
• Ability to work within a 25-mile radius.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to drive sales and productivity; ensure store standards and product knowledge are applied.
• Track KPIs to assess team and store performance.
• Rally the team and strategize adjustments to meet targets.
• Drive conversion by engaging customers and maintaining a welcoming environment.
• Oversee cash handling and inventory management.
• Assist in training and developing team members.
• Keep store clean and organized on the sales floor, in the parking lot, and back office.
• Must be able to bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand 8 hours daily; climb ladders as needed.
