Job summary

The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division in Galesburg, IL is seeking a Retail Store Processor to sort, tag, price, and prepare donated goods. This part-time role involves keeping the store organized and helping meet daily production goals while providing friendly service to donors.

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise to prepare donations for sale.

• Receive trucks and assist with loading, unloading, and sorting products by department.

About The Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

Location: Galesburg, Illinois

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule: 19 hours per week

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
