Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store is seeking a motivated Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals. You will sort, tag, and price merchandise, move processed items to the sales floor, and assist with loading and unloading to ensure efficient store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or currently pursuing.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach and lift/move merchandise.
• Basic math and computer skills for daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price donated merchandise.
• Help track and report production numbers.
• Move processed merchandise to the sales floor and stock areas.
• Receive shipments and assist with loading/unloading to departments.
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces; support team to meet daily goals.

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
