Goodwill Tacoma Outlet in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Full Time Assistant Store Manager at an hourly rate of $20.60. This role supervises retail staff and oversees daily operations, audits, inventory, payroll, and security, with a focus on good customer service and cost control.

The position requires a High School diploma (GED) and at least three years of related retail supervisory experience, along with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Three years related experience in retail supervision or management.
• Exceptional analytical, judgment, decision-making and communications skills.
• Superior coaching, leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs all opening and closing procedures and responsibilities.
• Ensure that the store audits are maintained at or above an acceptable level.
• Lead for the semi-annual inventory.
• Monitor all cash handling procedures and ensure compliance with policy.
• Oversee supply management and ordering to stay within budget for monthly and annual reporting.
• Ensure payroll expenses are aligned with budgeted parameters.
• Delegate work to appropriate employees and manage payroll timekeeping.
• Responsible for employee reimbursements, petty cash, and travel expenses.
• Maintain building and functional upkeep; submit maintenance requests.
• Ensure security systems are in working order (locks, alarms, deposits).
• Actively participate in interviewing and onboarding new retail staff following guidelines.
• Serve as security captain to protect assets in cooperation with Loss Prevention.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to a variety of customers.
