Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Flagstaff location. You will assist with daily store functions, organize merchandise, and help train and supervise store associates to maintain high standards.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and a focus on safe, positive customer interactions in a fast-paced retail environment. Part-time position with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs., frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment with customer service focus and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain shelves, stockroom, and overall store cleanliness per standards.
