Job summary

Circle K in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations at Gulf Coast BU - Region 03 - Market 04: 12860 Perkins Rd. You’ll recruit, train, schedule and supervise staff, ensuring top-notch customer service and safe, compliant store operations.

You will oversee inventory, cash handling, reporting, and merchandising while maintaining Circle K standards and a positive community presence. Strong English communication and driving access are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Experience to perform the duties and conditions described.
• Ability to supervise and train using CSR/ASM guidelines.
• Ability to supervise and manage CSR/ASM functions.
• Computer use and report analysis incl. inventory and cash control.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation to meetings.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train employees to ensure excellent customer service.
• Develop and assign tasks to keep site clean, stocked, organized and professional.
• Maintain a professional image among staff and supervisor.
• Schedule employees per guidelines to maximize customer service and site image.
• Apply non-discriminatory management practices in hiring, training, counseling and separations.
• Foster positive supplier relationships and resolve customer complaints promptly.
• Ensure safety and maintain a positive community image.
• Prepare performance appraisals and provide feedback in writing.
• Train employees on customer service, site image and marketing execution.
• Instruct staff on safety procedures and promote safety awareness.
• Communicate effectively with all employees and hold regular meetings.
• Evaluate site needs and develop action plans to reach objectives.
• Organize site files and manuals; supervise report completion and accuracy.
• Ensure products are stocked, displayed attractively and correctly priced.
