Job summary

Circle K in Denham Springs, LA is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations and drive exceptional customer service. This full-time, on-site role requires strong leadership, scheduling, inventory control and adherence to company standards.

You will recruit, train and supervise staff, develop supplier relationships and ensure a safe, clean store environment. Prior retail experience and English communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train staff using equipment, tools and materials listed in CSR/ASM descriptions.
• Ability to supervise and manage CSR/ASM functions.
• Computer literacy including reports, inventory and cash control.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation to/from bank and management meetings.
• Ability to communicate in English (oral and written).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train positive, enthusiastic employees, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Develop, manage and assign tasks to keep the site clean, stocked and well kept per Company standards.
• Maintain a professional and supportive image among staff and supervisor.
• Schedule employees to maximize customer service and maintain site image.
• Implement non-discriminatory management practices in hiring, training, counseling, motivating and separation of employees.
• Develop positive relationships with suppliers and resolve customer complaints promptly.
• Promote safe, positive public image within the community.
• Prepare performance appraisals and provide feedback.
• Train staff on customer service, site image and marketing execution.
• Train employees on safety procedures and promote safety awareness.
• Ensure timely internal communication with staff and Market Manager.
• Organize and maintain site files and manuals.
• Manage reports and ensure merchandise is stocked, displayed and priced correctly.
