The role supports supervising in the Store Manager’s absence, guiding employees across departments, and ensuring policies are followed while protecting assets and maintaining profitability.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling the assets of Hibbett I City Gear.
• Consult with Store Manager to establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Assume responsibility of the entire store in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments as needed.
• Maintain inventory knowledge, sales statistics and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are met.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise.
• Uphold all company policies and procedures.
• Protect company assets and financial information with internal controls.
