Uptown Cheapskate is seeking an assistant store manager to help operate a profitable store and deliver exceptional customer service. You will hire, schedule, develop a team and oversee daily operations to hit sales and profit goals while managing inventory and expenses.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, with 42–45 hours per week, supporting a fast-paced fashion retail environment.

• Strong demonstration of current fashion trends for core customer.
• Strong coaching/leadership, customer service and selling skills with a take-charge mentality.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; 42–45 hours per week.
• Strong verbal and written skills.
• Demonstration of management skills and the go-to source for creative solutions.

Responsabilités

• Assist the general manager and ownership with operation of a profitable store focused on exceptional customer service.
• Responsible for hiring/scheduling and developing a team focused on the customer.
• Oversee day-to-day store operations to achieve sales and profitability goals, customer acquisition and retention.
• Accountable for inventory quality control, budgeting, including labor cost and operational expenses.
• Hands-on, led by example leadership on the sales floor.
• Schedule regular team meetings to align with training and fashion trends.
• Develop and execute strategies to drive customer traffic and sales.
• Adhere to company guidelines to balance COGS and minimize losses.
• Maintain a fresh, visually appealing store above competition.
