Job summary

Skechers is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in St. Louis to support the Management Team across daily operations, sales leadership, and visual merchandising. You will mentor a team, drive customer service excellence, and contribute to store profitability.

You must be flexible to work weekends, evenings, and holidays. The role offers career advancement within Skechers' global network, with starting pay around $18.21 per hour and regular increases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Retail leadership experience preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and motivate staff to hit sales goals and deliver excellent service.
• Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers' standards.
• Monitor stock levels, restock, and keep the sales floor organized.
• Oversee scheduling, opening/closing, and overall store operations.
• Occasionally lift/move boxes up to 50 lbs to support ops.
• Drive revenue with performance plans and clear expectations.
• Address issues quickly to maintain guest satisfaction.
