Qualifications

• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit control.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and operate POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to laws and policies; ensure proper staffing.
• Provide training, conduct evaluations, identify gaps, and counsel up to termination if needed.
• Recommend pay rates and advancement opportunities.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations; lead meetings on safety and policies.
• Open and close the store at required frequencies.
• Evaluate operating statements to identify trends, expenses, shrink, and errors.
• Order and manage stock to meet in-stock targets; review inventory issues weekly.
• Facilitate staging, stocking and display of merchandise; ensure pricing and signage accuracy.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, control damages and ensure cash accountability.
• Provide superior customer service leadership and maintain a clean, safe store.
