Bath & Body Works is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to collaborate with the Store Manager in developing outstanding associates and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will help drive growth across the Bath & Body Works brand while leading a team on a busy retail floor.

The role emphasizes coaching, performance management, and maintaining store standards to ensure a high-energy, customer-first environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in a manager role, preferably in retail.
• Ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture.
• Effective communication skills and adaptability.
• In-the-moment coaching for associates.
• Ability to de-escalate store and customer situations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
• Set and reinforce performance expectations and goals with all associates.
• Lead as Manager on Duty when scheduled, addressing customer experience and operations.
• Partner with Sales Leadership Team to support action plans and execution.
• Implement floorset direction to optimize the business and product storytelling.
• Manage opening/closing routines, deposits, shipments, and directives.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to managers; meet payroll targets.
• Lead in-store experiences with selling behaviors and product knowledge.
