Job summary

Circle K Stores Inc. is seeking a Manager in Training in the Tampa area. This role develops leadership skills through hands-on supervision of store operations, training new staff, and ensuring top‑tier customer service.

You will recruit, train and schedule employees, manage inventory, and analyze daily sales to maximize profits while maintaining store standards across multiple Tampa locations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train for the use of equipment, tools and materials listed in CSR/ASM descriptions.
• Ability to supervise and manage functions listed in CSR/ASM descriptions.
• Ability to use computer and analyze reports, inventory control, cash control, counseling notices, etc.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation to bank and management meetings.
• Ability to communicate in English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train employees to ensure excellent customer service.
• Develop, manage and assign tasks to keep the site clean, stocked, and well kept.
• Maintain professional image among staff and supervisor.
• Schedule employees to maximize customer service per Company guidelines.
• Implement non-discriminatory management in hiring, training and counseling.
• Develop positive relationships with suppliers and resolve customer complaints.
• Prepare performance appraisals and train employees on safety and standards.
• Communicate with teams and hold regular meetings.
• Organize site files, ensure reports are completed, and manage merchandising and signage.
• Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize profits and manage margins.
