Job summary

SNIPES in Pennsylvania is seeking a Manager in Training to fully manage the store’s staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager. This is an entry level management role within the store level.

You will drive sales, uphold merchandising standards, train associates, monitor performance, and ensure store readiness. The role includes benefits such as employee discounts, holidays, PTO, and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Retail experience 2+ years preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead store staff and operations in the absence of Store Manager and Assistant Manager.
• Drive sales and profitability by meeting or exceeding goals and delivering high customer service.
• Assist in communicating store goals to maximize team contributions toward the sales plan.
• Monitor and evaluate performance: sales volume, productivity, UPTs, and loss prevention.
• Demonstrate leadership to support Store Manager in managing staff.
• Ensure timely execution of floor set guides and promotions.
• Direct and maintain merchandise presentation per Visual Merchandising standards.
• Communicate customer merchandise needs and assess assortment effectiveness.
• Support markdowns and transfers and maintain store cleanliness.
