Job summary

SNIPES in the United States is seeking an entry-level Manager in Training to oversee store staff and operations in the absence of a Store Manager. This role emphasizes leadership, customer service, and adherence to visual merchandising standards.

You will support sales goals, participate in performance monitoring, and help maintain store readiness and cleanliness while working with store leadership to develop teams. This entry-level role offers growth into management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 2+ years’ experience in retail preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus but not required.
• Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed.
• Communication and organizational skills.
• Strong drive to achieve results.
• Takes initiative and has problem solving skills.
• Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift.
• Lifting between 15-30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership in driving sales and profitability and provide high levels of customer service.
• Assist Store Manager/Assistant Manager with communicating goals to the team to meet the sales plan.
• Assist in monitoring performance: sales, hourly production, UPTs, charge accounts, and loss prevention.
• Help manage staff, ensuring execution of floor sets and promotions.
• Direct and maintain merchandise presentation per Visual Merchandising standards.
• Identify customer needs and ensure assortment meets demand.
• Support markdowns and transfers in a timely manner.
• Ensure store cleanliness on sales floor and in stockroom.
