Job summary

SNIPES USA seeks an entry level Manager in Training to fully manage store staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager. This role develops leadership and a high level of customer service at the store level.

Responsibilities include driving sales, communicating goals, monitoring performance, maintaining merchandising standards, and ensuring cleanliness in both sales floor and stockroom. This is an entry level management role within the store context.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• At least 2+ years’ experience in retail preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus but not required.
• Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed.
• Communication and organizational skills.
• Strong drive to achieve results.
• Takes initiative and has problem solving skills.
• Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift.
• Lifting between 15-30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership in driving sales and profitability and provide high levels of customer service.
• Assist in communicating store goals and directives to maximize contributions toward the sales plan.
• Help monitor and evaluate performance in sales, productivity, UPTs, charge accounts and loss prevention.
• Lead store staff in executing floor set guides and promotions in a timely manner.
• Direct merchandise presentation according to Visual Merchandising standards.
• Ensure store meets standards for cleanliness in sales floor and stockroom.
