Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager in Training to lead onboarding and hands-on management of store operations. You will train on merchandising, display techniques, and signage while promoting a welcoming environment for customers and associates.

You will recruit staff, coach teams, ensure compliance, and drive store profitability through strong leadership and excellent service. This role is based at our Downingtown location and offers competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus is preferred.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Must be able to lift 30 to 50 lbs. and perform frequent physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve customers.
• Foster growth and development of associates through training on operations and merchandising while coaching and correcting when appropriate.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, while enforcing company policies and procedures.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement operational and merchandising direction from corporate headquarters.
• Help the store reach its maximum profit contribution.
• Protect company assets.
• Maintain a high level of customer service across the store.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
