Job description

We are currently looking for the right

Retail Store Manager

to join our Team!

$19.00 to $26.48 per hour

In addition to the hourly rate our Retail Store Managers can earn a very lucrative monthly bonus, contributing to a major portion of a Retail Store Manager's total yearly income.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales is a PLUS)! A Store Manager will be accountable for the day-to-day operations of the store and promoting a positive/productive environment. A Store Manager will lead, coach, and develop store employees. A Store Manager will recruit and retain top talent. A Store Manager will be responsible for maximizing financial goals and managing Customer Relations / Customer Satisfaction. Leading by example and promoting our company values, the Store Manager sets the tone for a customer-centric environment.

Responsibilities of a Store Manager are:

  1. Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers.
  3. Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company-prescribed channels.
  4. Open and close the store, ensuring all procedures are followed to protect assets.
  5. Ensure asset protection through inventory control and securing customer loans.
  6. Administer processes and procedures within the store.
  7. Evaluate the store's financial statements and drive profitability.
  8. Ensure that operating standards meet or exceed FirstCash standards.
  9. Monitor loan qualification and buying processes.
  10. Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development.
  11. Communicate clearly with employees to ensure understanding of the store’s mission.
  12. Remain up-to-date on product knowledge.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

  1. Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  2. Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods of time.
  3. Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
  4. Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
  5. Minimum Age: 18 years old.
  6. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  7. Must have the ability to work a flexible retail schedule.
  8. Store Managers will work 45+ hours a week.
  9. Computer literate and able to operate Point-Of-Sale (POS) systems.
  10. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  11. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  12. Cash handling experience is required.
  13. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  14. Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.

Commission Plan Information

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Store Managers receive a commission based on the store’s monthly gross profit!
