South Forty Specialties is seeking a motivated leader to head our retail showroom operations at our new headquarters in Watertown, SD. The role focuses on managing daily store operations, inventory control, and delivering an exceptional in-store customer experience.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, proactive mindset, and ability to translate customer needs into product offerings and retail strategy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail or store management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day retail store operations, ensuring a clean, organized, and inviting showroom.
• Oversee retail inventory, including tracking, ordering, stocking, and merchandising.
• Provide input on product selection based on customer demand, trends, and feedback.
• Conduct product research to support expansion of retail offerings.
• Assist customers with purchases, questions, and overall in-store experience.
• Lead, train, and manage retail staff, including scheduling and performance expectations.
• Ensure accurate pricing, labeling, and display of products.
• Monitor store performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support company initiatives, promotions, and events within the retail space.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and brand representation.

Location: Watertown, SD (224 Pheasant Ridge Drive)

Reporting to: Sales / Operations Leadership

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience

Job Summary: South Forty Specialties is currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to lead our retail showroom operations at our new headquarters in Watertown, SD. This position will be responsible for managing daily store operations, overseeing inventory and merchandising, and delivering an exceptional in-store experience for our customers.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to understand customer needs and translate them into product offerings and retail strategy. This role plays a key part in shaping the retail experience and supporting the continued growth of South Forty Specialties.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 3+ years of retail or store management experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving ability
• Experience with inventory management and merchandising
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
