North 40 Outfitters in Havre, MT is seeking a Full-Time Salaried Store Manager to lead a busy outdoor retail team. You will drive sales, coach staff, maintain store standards, and safeguard company assets while delivering excellent customer service.

This managerial role requires flexibility, weekend hours, and the ability to work 55–60 hours per week. Experience in retail management, merchandising, and knowledge of outdoor recreation equipment is a plus; relocation support may be available.

As aStore Managerat North 40, you are responsible to coach and lead a store team, drive sales and profitability metrics, manage the store operationally, maintain store standards and promote safety and safeguard company assets. In order to succeed in the position, you will need to be an enthusiastic person who can optimistically handle a challenging and fast-paced environment. You should have experience and a passion for generating sales and maintaining store standards. A key part of this position will be the operational and administrative side of your store.You should also have a strong background in retail management, merchandising, and sales. Public relations, understanding and adapting to local culture is also crucial to your success. Experience and working knowledge of outdoorrecreation, farm and ranch, animal health, tools, and hardware isa plus.

This full-time position requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts between the business hours of Mon-Sat 7 am to 7 pm, and Sunday 9 am to 5 pm., as well as additional time before and after hours as needed. This shift can include working weekends and certain holidays and will require flexibility in scheduling based on business needs. As this is a managerial position it is not uncommon to work 55-60 hours a week.

• Willingness to relocate if needed
• Understanding of correct lifting and loading techniques. Physical ability to lift and carry 0-15 lbs. continuously, 15-50lbs. frequently, and 50-55 lbs. occasionally, andteam lift anything over 55 lbs. Spending 100% of work time on your feet, including use of ladders, rolling staircases and pallet jacks.
