Job description

We are a forward-thinking Alternative Wellness retail business dedicated to safe access, exceptional service, and education. We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Store Manager to drive results, lead with integrity, and create a best-in-class customer experience.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

• Manage and oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing, cash handling, and scheduling

• Lead, train, and develop a knowledgeable and motivated team

• Ensure full compliance with all state and local cannabis/mushroom/kratom regulations and company SOPs

• Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective merchandising, upselling, prospecting, and customer service strategies

• Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee all product handling procedures

• Handle customer escalations professionally while maintaining a welcoming store environment

• Monitor KPIs and store performance data to drive continuous improvement

• Represent the brand with professionalism and community event engagement

• Perform Shift Manager duties on the sales floor, along with the assistant manager

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of retail management experience (cannabis/mushroom/kratom experience preferred but not required)

• Strong knowledge of retail operations, sales management, and compliance in a regulated industry

• Effective leadership and communication skills

• Familiarity with retail POS, task management, scheduling, and inventory systems, (e.g., Lightspeed, Homebase, Shopify, Google ecosystem)

• Must be 21+ and able to pass all background and state compliance checks

• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and evenings

Additional Information

Compensation & Perks:

-$48,000 annual base salary, plus commissions and tips
