Job description

Ollie’s retail store managers provide leadership for the successful operation of the entire store. They build and lead passionate teams focused on merchandising and creating exceptional customer experiences. Primary Responsibilities

1. Provide financial oversight of all sales and profit goals, including managing payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and other key initiatives as directed by Ollie’s Operations leadership.
2. Demonstrate Ollie’s "Yes I Care, Yes I Can" behaviors by providing exceptional Associate and Customer service; ensure all standards are consistently met in every interaction.
3. Implement company strategies for merchandising, store standards, seasonal transitions, and inventory processes to meet operational goals.
4. Develop talent by coaching, training, evaluating, supervising, and scheduling store associates to meet business needs and staffing budgets.
5. Maintain proper security of the store and all company assets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years retail management experience with a mid to large size retailer.
• Flexible schedule to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Valid Driver’s license required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely.
