Job summary

DXL Group, the largest specialty retailer of men's Big + Tall apparel, seeks a Retail Store Manager to build lasting guest relationships by delivering an unmatched shopping experience. You will lead a sales team, meet store goals, and ensure exceptional service.

It requires a hands-on leader who coaches staff, maintains product knowledge across brands, and travels to neighboring locations as needed. High school diploma required; college degree a plus; prior store management and supervisory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus.
• 2 years of experience in a Store Manager role.
• 4 years of experience in a supervisory role.
• Willingness to travel to neighboring store locations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each guest feels welcomed by spending quality time, asking questions to learn needs and lifestyle.
• Ensure the store meets sales plans, while monitoring customer service, inventory, expense control and risk.
• Build a superior customer-focused sales team by coaching and training selling skills, behaviors, and operations.
• Serve as a product knowledge expert with the ability to sell and market a broad range of apparel.

• Serve as a product knowledge expert with the ability to sell and market a broad range of apparel, including private labels, name brands, and tailored clothing

ARE YOU A FIT?

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree, a plus
• 2 years of experience in a Store Manager role
• 4 years of experience in a supervisory role
• Previous involvement working in a commission oriented environment, a plus
• Willingness to travel to neighboring store locations
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. and move up to 50 lbs.
