Job Overview

As a Retail Store Manager at T-Mobile, you will lead by example, empower your team, and strive to make your store the best in connecting customers to their world. You will be responsible for all store operations, including hiring, scheduling, training, marketing, assets prevention, and team leadership. You will serve as the primary contact for store employees.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Conduct observations of employee-customer interactions, provide feedback, and facilitate development, training, and coaching.
  2. Handle customer-related issues to enhance the customer experience and uphold the T-Mobile brand standards.
  3. Own store success by managing staffing, scheduling, labor controls, marketing, loss prevention, and other store functions.
  4. Monitor sales, inventory, and implement new store programs to support operational excellence.
  5. Maintain a clean, organized store environment.
  6. Hire passionate employees committed to building customer relationships and embracing the T-Mobile brand and technology.
  7. Support team development through training, mentoring, and recognition.
  8. Lead by example, staying current on products, services, and leadership best practices.
  9. Create an inclusive environment and support team initiatives.
  10. Drive store productivity, operational efficiency, and financial results, including managing expenses.
  11. Implement personalized performance management and celebrate achievements.
  12. Ensure employees meet or exceed monthly success metrics and sales goals.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • 2-4 years management experience in retail sales (Required)
  • 2-4 years sales and sales management experience (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Store management and operations expertise
  • Strong customer service skills
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Additional Compensation and Benefits

The total target cash pay range is $66,900 - $120,600, including incentives. Base pay ranges from $50,175 to $90,450, depending on location, qualifications, and experience.
