Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is seeking a Retail Store Manager for the Central City location. You will lead a team of Associates and Assistant Managers, drive sales, and continually improve store processes to meet goals in line with Goodwill's values of Hope, Dignity, Service and Partnership.

Responsibilities include controlling expenses and payroll, focusing on loss prevention and safety, hiring effectively, coaching staff, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of management/supervisory experience.
• Retail, logistics, warehouse, or light manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Travel to other locations beyond the assigned work location is required.

Job Purpose

The Retail Store Manager will support the store sales and lead retail employees continually by evaluating and improving the performance of others; constantly striving to improve store processes and performing tasks of subordinates as needed to ensure store goals are met and exceeded.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stock merchandise from store receiving to shelving; ability to place product, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelving at various heights. 45 pounds to be consistent with ASM requirement.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.
