Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is seeking a high-energy Store Manager to oversee all operations in a fast-paced retail environment. The role emphasizes customer service excellence, team leadership, and alignment with our mission of empowering people.

This full-time, exempt position requires flexibility across a rotating schedule and travel to other locations as needed. Salary is $50,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of management/supervisory experience.
• Retail, logistics, warehouse, or light manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Must be able to work a rotating schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Travel to other locations beyond the assigned work location is required.

• Key decision maker in improving operational processes and workflows in collaboration with the senior store manager.
• Manage store expense control and payroll to optimize business.
• Focus staff on loss prevention priorities and safety awareness.
• Follow company guidelines to foster a positive shopping experience.

• Ability to make good hiring decisions while following the company’s hiring process.
• Manage and coach all associates on achieving sales goals with a focus on key metrics.

Goodwill Kentucky is looking for a high energy, detail-oriented Store Manager to join our team! This position would be responsible for all operations in a fast paced, dynamic, and rewarding environment. Pay: $50,000

Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Hours of Operation:
Monday-Sunday: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM

Essential Duties and Tasks:

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stock merchandise from store receiving to shelving; ability to place product, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelving at various heights. 45 pounds to be consistent with ASM requirement.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.
