This role is designed for external retail assistant managers and store managers interested in “fast-tracking” into a Store Management position. A minimum of 1 year retail management experience is required.

Position Summary

Seeking a Store Manager Trainee with at least 6 months of store management experience. Responsible for daily operations, team development, financial goals, and customer satisfaction. Offers hourly wages plus commissions and bonuses based on performance.

Responsibilities of a Store Management Trainee

• Foster a customer-centric environment.
• Assist in training pawnbrokers.
• Recruit and source top talent.
• Open and close store, manage cash and merchandise.
• Ensure asset protection and inventory control.
• Manage store operations, including loans, inventory, merchandising, and reporting.
• Analyze financial statements and drive profitability.
• Maintain store standards and customer relations.
• Act as manager on duty when necessary.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Effective supervision skills.
• Ability to work with firearms and obtain certification.
• Minimum age 18, high school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficient with POS systems and office equipment.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and cash handling skills.
• Work independently with a strong work ethic.
