Ross Stores in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking an experienced Store Manager/Assistant Manager to lead daily store operations. You will supervise Associates, drive sales and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

Two+ years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience in retail.
Ability to supervise, motivate and communicate positively to Associates.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.
Fluency in English.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations used in retail.

Responsibilities

Leads all Company Best Practices and maximizes productivity by minimizing steps and touches.
Assists in analyzing store reports to evaluate expenses and performance.
Communicates variances to Store Manager.
Ensures proper scheduling of Associates to meet objectives.
Ensures compliance with State, Local and Federal regulations.
Maintains safety, cleanliness, and customer service standards.
Drives payroll administration and scheduling compliance.
Assists in recruiting, training and developing non-exempt Associates.
Monitors loss prevention and inventory processes.
Direct supervision of all non-exempt Associates.
