Dollar General Corporation in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Store Manager to lead all store processes including staffing, training, ordering, receiving, merchandising and cash control. The role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, driving sales, and ensuring a safe, customer-friendly shopping environment.

You will recruit and develop staff, oversee performance evaluations, and implement company standards and policies daily.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposits.

Responsabilités

Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees; ensure store is properly staffed.
Provides training, conducts evaluations, and counsels as needed.
Oversees staff pay decisions and advancement recommendations.
Communicates performance and safety expectations; conducts meetings to promote safety and policy compliance.
Manages opening/closing, staffing levels, and store operations daily.
Evaluates sales, profitability, and inventory trends to identify opportunities.
Oversees stock ordering and schedule adherence to meet in-stock targets.
Ensures proper merchandising, pricing, and signage across the store.
Maintains inventory accuracy and cash accountability.
