SNIPES in Providence, RI, is seeking a Manager in Training to step in for Store Manager and Assistant Manager when needed. This entry-level management role focuses on leading store staff, driving sales, and maintaining brand standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will develop leadership skills, manage daily operations, and ensure exceptional customer service while supporting merchandising and loss-prevention initiatives. A great stepping stone for a career in retail management.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• 2+ years in retail preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus.
• Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership to drive sales and profitability and deliver high customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with communicating store goals and directives to maximize team contributions.
• Monitor performance metrics (sales, hourly production, UPTs, loss prevention) and provide input.
• Oversee staff and ensure floor sets, promotions, and merchandising standards are followed.
• Support markdowns, transfers, and stockroom cleanliness.
