Job summary

SNIPES is seeking a Manager in Training to fully manage store staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager. This entry level management role focuses on leading the team, driving sales, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include achieving sales goals, coordinating with management to meet directives, monitoring performance, and maintaining visual merchandising standards. High school diploma required; retail experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 2+ years’ experience in retail preferred.
• College degree a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Strong drive to achieve results.
• Takes initiative and has problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership in driving sales and profitability and high level of customer service.
• Assist Store Manager/Assistant Manager with communicating goals and directives to the team.
• Monitor and evaluate performance: sales, hours, unit per transaction, and loss prevention.
• Direct and maintain merchandise presentation per Visual Merchandising standards.
