Qualifications

• Retail experience in footwear and athletic apparel is preferred.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assist in managing a team and meet goals and profits.
• Self-starter with initiative and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling the assets of Hibbett I City Gear.
• Consult with Store Manager to establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Assume store responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Be aware of inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure each department’s responsibilities and standards are completed.
• Keep the Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Ensure quality customer service is maintained.
• Perform general administrative duties and learn Store Manager responsibilities.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service and promote services and merchandise.
• Follow all company policies and standards as listed in manuals and memos.
• Protect assets and financial information by maintaining internal controls and flagging fraud risks.
