Job summary

Hibbett I City Gear is seeking a Manager in Training to join our Operations team in a fast-paced retail environment. The role assists the Store Manager with daily store operations, customer service, merchandising, and administrative duties while gaining exposure to all product areas to support sales goals.

You will learn to step in for the Store Manager when needed, guiding a team, upholding policies, promoting promotions, and delivering outstanding customer service to build long-term customer

Qualifications

• Retail experience in footwear and athletic apparel
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team-player with initiative and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in all store operations and administrative duties
• Learn each product area and support sales, merchandising, restocking, and scheduling
• Step in for the Store Manager in their absence and supervise staff when needed
• Provide knowledgeable guidance to employees and customers across departments
• Promote and sell services and merchandise while upholding policies and procedures
• Protect assets and financial information by following internal controls and reporting risks
