Academy Sports + Outdoors in Manhattan, KS is seeking a Sales Manager to lead the day-to-day performance of a high‑volume retail store. You will drive sales, merchandising, and operations while coaching a diverse team of up to 40 team members.

You will set standards for service, ensure safety and compliance, interpret performance metrics, manage labor and inventory, and partner with store leaders to deliver a best-in-class experience for customers.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership/management experience.
• Proven success leading departments of up to 40 team members and driving sales targets.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily store operations to drive sales and customer experience.
• Coach and develop a diverse team of up to 40 associates.
• Translate business goals into priorities for service, merchandising and operations.
• Monitor metrics, labor planning, and inventory to improve productivity and in‑stock levels.
• Ensure safety policies and compliance, including firearms sales procedures.
