Job summary

Wild Fork is seeking a Retail Store Manager to lead our team of brand ambassadors, provide guidance, training, and leadership to inspire peak performance. You will ensure inventory control, daily operations, and a community-friendly shopping experience as the store's ambassador and product expert.

You will hire and develop staff, uphold our values, and drive top-tier customer service while managing costs and schedules to keep the store profitable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of retail experience, with at least 3 years in store leadership with P&L accountability.
• Proven success in coaching and training employees.
• Strong understanding of sales drivers and customer service.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with recruiting and performance evaluation processes.
• Ability to delegate tasks to team members.
• Demonstrated sense of urgency, time management, and prioritization.
• Systems capabilities: SAP, Order Management Systems, Microsoft Office.
• Own it – take ownership and responsibility to be successful.
• Respects others’ opinions.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Able to meet budgets.

Responsibilities

• Hire, retain, develop and mentor a high-performing team of employees.

• Provide training to improve knowledge and utilize cross-training to maintain productivity when employees are absent.
• Establish and achieve the highest standard of store execution.

• Maintain and replenish inventory, staying in communication with the distribution center and commercial team regarding store specific needs.
• Develop a plan strategically designed to bring in more customers and increase their basket size.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure the store is presentable and can function properly.
• Make sure all employees adhere to company’s policies and guidelines.
• Provides leadership and guidance with Human Resources functions.
• Maximize productivity through effective scheduling.
• Manage controllable costs to keep the store profitable.
• Execute other related duties as assigned.
